Yes ladies with the reintroduction of everything 80’s this year within women’s fashion, comes another trend that I
thought (or hoped?) would never see the light of day again… the bodysuit. With acid wash, shoulder shapes and the like making a real strong comeback, this was just the next step. All the major catwalk shows featured the bodysuit this year, and I thought we may have just missed the trend because it had not infiltrated the shops on a large scale until recently.
For those that do not know what the bodysuit is, maybe you never really want to know. If you are lucky enough to be born in the 90’s then you are probably too fresh faced and young to remember this trend the first time around. It was never really a good look before, but the designers are pulling out all the stops this time in order to make them more appealing. We have seen sheer versions (right on trend), bold colour ways, 3/4 length sleeves and even puffa shoulder detailing on new collections from the high street to high fashion.
